Technical Details

VPN Service is the last of the services from our Lansdale Datacenter. All communication with the Lansdale Datacenter will be ending on 12/1/2017. In order to continue VPN services, we have deployed a new VPN address (https://vpn.archphila.org) and client. The VPN service is a feature on our corporate firewall. As we moved datacenters, we took the opportunity to upgrade our security hardware and software to more modern and secure versions. In this case, the firewall vendor was changed from Cisco to Palo Alto – hence the need for a new client. It is important to know that VPN is not our first choice in remote access to the network. If you have a PC on the network, we recommend using our Remote Desktop Gateway. Contact Help if you would like more information on the Remote Desktop Gateway.
